Sprint CEO Dan Hesse was place on Charlie Rose’s hot centre and asked the pointed question: “Is the Palm Pre making a deform into the iPhone market?”

Hesse’s response?

Aaah… It’s-it’s doing well, but you crapper nearly place the iPhone, to be fair, in a removed category. The Apple sort and that device have finished so well, it’s nearly not… it’s same scrutiny someone to archangel Jordan.

Gizmodo figured they’d remind Hesse that it was, in fact, the same collection and that Apple needs rivalry (the consumer needs competition). Engadget thinks it was a duly respectful and tactful content of the iPhone’s success.

We conceive it’s nice to center a wireless CEO who’s not so bombastic and, frankly, garbled as most of them seem to be, as plain by Hesse’s answers on Android, Nextel, the price of touchscreen handsets, and shelling life as an impediment to smartphone growth.
